Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Policy Objective & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the proper use of all hosting services provided by InfraHost, including Discord bot containers, web hosting nodes, colocation space, network links, and community systems. This policy exists to safeguard server integrity, network performance, and law compliance across our Sydney datacenter footprint.

2. Strictly Prohibited Network & Security Activities

Under no circumstances may any InfraHost service or IP address be utilized to initiate, facilitate, or host the following activities:

• Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) Attacks: Executing outbound packet flooding, amplification attacks, port scanning, or malicious network probing from any container or node.
• Phishing & Malware Distribution: Hosting token loggers, credential harvesting pages, ransomware, trojans, or exploit kits.
• Discord Platform Exploitation: Operating self-bots, token generators, mass-DM spam bots, or raiding scripts in violation of Discord’s Developer Terms of Service.
• Unlawful System Penetration: Attempting unauthorized access, privilege escalation, or root escapes targeting neighbor containers or hypervisor hosts.
• Unsolicited Commercial Bulk Email (SPAM): Transmitting spam or operating open mail relays in violation of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
• Unlicensed Crypto Mining: Running unauthorized Monero or cryptocurrency mining processes designed to exhaust hypervisor vCPU allocations.

3. Illegal Content & Intellectual Property Violations

Services must not contain or link to material violating Australian federal or state law, including:

• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any exploitation content. Violations trigger instant service termination and mandatory referral to the Australian Federal Police (AFP).
• Pirated software, cracked license keys, or copyright-infringing media mirrors under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
• Terrorist content, violent extremism materials, or illegal marketplace operations.

4. Abuse Enforcement & Account Suspension

If an account or container is detected violating this AUP, InfraHost reserves the right to take swift corrective action:

• Immediate Isolation: Severe threats (such as outbound DDoS or phishing hosting) result in immediate container null-routing or isolation to safeguard neighboring clients.
• Investigation & Notice: For minor technical breaches, the account owner will receive an abuse ticket on portal.infrahost.com.au with a 24-hour cure period.
• Data Permanent Erasure: Confirmed severe violations forfeit all rights to data recovery, and services will be permanently purged without refund eligibility.
